Gingham never felt so good!
This outfit screams Thanksgiving & I can’t wait to wear it again!
I wanted to share a bit of my personal life with you today regarding the Holidays. First of all, my parents got divorced when I was only 2, so most of my upbringing has been going back to forth to both parents houses for the Holidays. Honestly, growing up, I never really understood it, but now it makes perfect sense. If you come from a broken home it’s not a bad thing. So many people look down upon divorced parents and growing up with home being the parent who has full custody. Not in my story. I, unfortunately had to deal with that stereotype growing up, but today I am SO BEYOND thankful for what I experienced as a child.
I have a mom who loves me unconditionally and not one, but two dad’s who I call my own. For that I am forever grateful. Yes, the Holidays can get hectic traveling back and forth, but I wouldn’t change it for anything. It’s who I am. It’s what has brought me to the now. Never underestimate the power of a broken home. Be thankful you have parents who love you, regardless of their marital title.
